443 Greenwich

Designed by Charles Haight in 1882, 443 Greenwich was originally a 7-story bookbindery that is currently being converted by Metro Loft Management into an ultra-modern, luxurious residential condominium. Covering 26,000 SF of striking living space over its current 9 stories and 53 individually designed apartments, 443 Greenwich affords an unsurpassed synergy of rustic charm alongside its ultra-luxurious finishes and amenities.

Metro Loft retained the services of CCA to overcome the hurdles of code compliance for repurposing this 136+ year old building. We were presented with a non-fireproofed warehouse made of brick and wood beams among other challenges and through creative code application we were able to convert the building to an up-to-date, safe living environment while remaining true to the building’s original, retro character.
