Rounding out our extensive portfolio of projects is 180 Water Street in the financial district of Lower Manhattan. An office to residential conversion, this project brought its unique set of challenges, most notably that the building remained partially occupied throughout the conversion. This presented CCA with a very complex set of issues and required extensive and creative code compliance resolutions. Having to thread plumbing, ventilation and electrical risers through the functioning office space was a very logistic-heavy challenge, yet we were still able to successfully meet each of the target dates.

 

The completed building has an additional 5 stories added to its original 24 stories with a total of 457,239 SF of premium, state-of-the-art residential rental space. The 566 units feature 10’ ceilings and interior design by award-winning design firm CetraRuddy. Its premier amenities and services include a magnificent outdoor rooftop pool, fitness and yoga facilities as well as a gaming area and an entertaining kitchen/dining facility.
