Central Park Tower

At 1,550 feet, Central Park Tower, formerly known as Nordstrom Tower, is the tallest residential building in the world. It boasts a total of 99 stories, with the first 7 floors and 285,000 SF housing Nordstrom’s flagship store. The 690,000 SF of hotel and epicurean residential space of the 179 apartments above, provide unprecedented 360° views of the City and was designed by the renowned Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill. Upon completion in 2020, Central Park Tower will redefine the famed New York City skyline.

Being able to deliver fulfillment of the record setting designs while being challenged by the complicated Regulations and Building Codes, was an insurmountable objective. Yet Extell Developers relied upon CCA to deliver on the most ambitious private building project in the U.S. And even with code changes taking effect mid-construction, in addition to design modifications as more air rights were acquired, CCA pulled through on time - delivering on virtually all requested designs.
